Confidential counselling and support to students on a range of presenting issues.

Support to a student’s wider family network where appropriate.

Education and strategies regarding social and emotional wellbeing.

Knowledge of other services in the community and referrals where appropriate.

Assistance with uniform costs.

When: On-site at Penguin District School
​Currently at the Primary Campus each Monday and Secondary Campus each Tuesday.
How to make an appointment:
Referral through senior staff. Students can self-refer and families can refer also. As office staff for a referral and consent form. There may be a wait time or a referral to another service depending on what is identified.

What do I do:

Support students emotional and mental wellbeing during class, recess and lunchtime - generally from the moment I walk into school and this can vary in surface level or deeper conversations. This can also look like joining in on a class like PE and championing the kids on or sitting alongside a student who is struggling

Students can come to me and talk about concerns or conflicts they are experiencing in and outside of school

During winter I run lunchtime programs, with the Spark team that come in from the Rock Community Church, we do finger knitting, origami and in the summer we run outdoor group games and programs

​Currently work between Primary and Secondary campuses on Monday and Tuesday. So come and say hello.
